Hi all,
well after our first year of getting to know our van (07 T5), 'issues' fixed, and it being our 40th wedding Anniversary, we have decided to bight the bullet and take a Spanish/French trip.
Plan is to ferry down to Santander, then work our way back to Cherbourg over about 3 weeks.
The only 'must do' is to go back to St Emilion, for lots of reasons, other than that it will be overnighting on the hoof in France (use the Car-Park App for Aire's).
Having never been to N Spain, am looking for some recommendations on where is best to stop over for a few nights, within reasonable distance of Santander, ideally within easy reach of a village/small town (or even bigger), for a few nights when we arrive (early June).
Simple is fine, only caveat being we do need proper toilet facilities.
