First night in Cali

Finally managed our first few nights away - went to acampsite in Wales where we spent a few days in a hired van conversion last year in order to see if we liked it - have to say it was far better in the Cali, more comfortable and we both slept well. Watched a man in a van nearby trying to turn the front passenger seat back round, took him quite a while (we gave up on our conversion last year as too difficult) so much easier in the Cali as is everything. Can’t wait till next trip away now.

Fantastic - which campsite? - do you recommend it ?

Fforest Fields, nr Bluith Wells, I would highly recommend it, it’s in a lovely area with great walks, it’s very well maintained by the family who own it and the facilities very clean, it just has a lovely feel to it.

Ha ha yes two, we bought one when we went to the shop a few months ago then received one as a gift, first time using them but both served a purpose, husband cooked the bacon in the larger one then used the small one for the toast, was really good.
