In 18 months of ownership I’ve never slept upstairs, used the sink, put water in the tank, or used the hob.

Maybe. Though I was struggling to find a beach with a factory fitted heater, and I didn’t know what my pattern of usage would be. So safer to buy the Ocean and have all the options open. Cost wasn’t the main issue, if it had been I probably not have bought a Cali, and I still have my options open if my pattern of usage changes.
