Fitting factory Westfalia towbar

New van noob owner question. My van has towbar prep and I found the actual towbar in the section behind the seat. I can take the plastic blank out but cannot work out how to get the towbar to seat into the hole left behind. I have the bar and the red key to lock and unlock it.

I have the Westfalia on both my California and Yeti. From memory the key needs to to be in the lock and the lock pulled out and twisted - it sort of spring loads it. The towbar is pushed up into the hole and it releases itself. You then need to turn the key to lock it. Remove key.

To unlock it you twist the key and then pull out and twist the knob to unlock and it should come out.

Sorry if a bit vague as February was the last time I used the towbar.
