Any easy fix for this? I can't see anything that appears broken, it's just that the left flap does not sit low enough down to securely hold the front blind. Van is only a few months old and it used to work properly but now doesn't.

I keep a couple of parking tickets (not fines :) the ones of the size of a credit card and hard to bend, bend them in two and insert them over the top of the flap, which is so pushed against the blind and the pin remains in the flap hole.

Take it to a Dealer
Why?
The 2 flaps that hold the pins are correctly and identically positioned.
The L blind plastic edge/ handle has slide down the blind material, compared to the R side, thus its Pin sits lower. Slide the L side up the fabric and it will sit correctly.

Then you've provided the fix , the op can stop stressing and avoid an 800 mile return trip, WIN WIN, I sometimes wonder !

Another issue that can have the effect that the OP mentions is not tilting up the rear view mirror before drawing the blind closed. This had is really baffled / concerned when we hired a Cali before buying. Took a couple of nights to figure it out.
