There is also the angle that the OP is just "arming up" with our knowledge so as not to get fobbed off by a dealer.
I don't mind this as help with a fix or helping them get fixed is pretty much the same for me.

I mostly use Tapatalk to access the forum; that seems to have a different way of presenting info and does not seem to show all profile info. Does this have a bearing on the above discussion?

Agree with Loz. One of the main reasons we bought a Cali was this forum & the ability to seek out quick advice & support . Not available with most conversions or the marc polo in 2016 .
It’s certainly “armed” us with the information needed to sort any problems with the dealer. Always try to feedback repair & support those now having the similar problems.
