Hi -
just got back from a three week trip to France, taking in the Massif Central /Lot / Midi Pyrennesse, then over to Nyons, where I spent 10 days cycling in the Barronnies and round the Mont Ventoux area, up through the Alps and spending last three days in Annecy, then home 3000miles of absolutely trouble free motoring, the preformance of the van was superb(new 140) - had three days of horrendous rain, no problem at all with canvas top, completely watertight.
Best accessories I took Remoska oven, Duvalay, Kindle and my road bike - took far too much of everything else, but you live and learn, this was my first trip away and can't wait for my next trip, West Coast of Scotland in two weeks time for a week or more and back to Europe end of September.
Only bit of gear that caused me any heartache was the TomTom Live, kept on freezing and leaving me to struggle on, now seems ok.
Only down side, took two days to clean the midges and flies off the front of the van, well worth it.
Hope everyone has the same time as myself.
