Fridge and shunt!

It started with a Fridge which stopped working, a bit of fiddling around following instructions already posted about Penguin Refridgeration in Havant a flashing LED which showed error 5.
Control box removed and taken to Penguin, two days later they confirmed deceased control box.
Replacement arrived by the end of the week…………. At this point I thought I’ll do the earth Shunt. Mmmmmm
Quick look proved it would be sink/cooker removal to get three of the bolts - I think not!!
Followed another post whereby someone had cut a hole between rear battery and where the shunt was lurking.
I followed suit and now have an upgraded shunt and a smart (I think) access hatch - Just incase.
Two jobs done and I am at peace with the world once more.

@Carter3 - great idea. Where did you get the shunt cable? VWCamper.DE just told me they don't ship to the UK...

I bought from the Forum shop - you could buy the bits individually from other sources and maybe save a few pennies but I didn’t want to spend the time so one stop shop for me.
