My van was in for service and a fresh water pump replacement (still not done as they need to order it - despite me telling them is was duff a month ago) and I asked the dealer to check fault codes on the fridge as it occasionally turns itself off even though the leisure batteries are fine.

They've said "Tested fridge, and found out the battery for the fridge is low on charge, charged the battery with the fridge on and confirmed the fridge is not cutting out". I asked if they mean the leisure batteries and they said "no, the fridge battery".

Has anyone else had this or are they talking rubbish? Didn't even know the fridge had a battery

Quite frankly, nothing would surprise me!! :headbang But it was fully charged anyway.....and
I have 200w of solar topping it up too

Update.....
Just collected the van and after checking with the master technician they said "Are you aware your vehicle has three batteries?!?!"
They said the rear "fridge battery" was down to 13% so they've charged it up for me.
I told them the leisure batteries are wired in parallel and so should equalise but he said "The master technician of over 10 years said they are in parallel, but they will not equalise"

.....I then gave up

I feel your pain! Might be worth a look at the cube fuse because both leisure batteries are indeed in parallel and with 200w of solar you should never have an issue!

Also for what it's worth although Indian Queens do the servicing they are not 'California' specialists (the Exeter branch is though)

Did check the cube fuse the other day but will check again. I'm guessing a 100amp fuse should be easy to spot if it has blown

Thanks for the tip on Exeter - I'd rather travel to somewhere that knows what they're doing
