Fridge no cooling fan going and control panel working

Hello,

I have a T4 Westfalia full camper 1992. I am having an issue with the fridge, it not getting cold . The control panel works great with the snow flake and temp can be changed , Battery is 14.2 amps, the fan is going for a bit but then I hear a beep (it then stop for a few second and fan goes again). I am wondering if I simply need to add refrigerant? I am assuming the electric unit is working fine since the fan starts?

Any insight would be great.

Tons of threads on here on this subject. Search is your friend.

Could be 1 of 2 things. Either the control box that sits next to the compressor under the fridge or the refrigerant needs recharging.

For the first , there are simple diagnostic tests, again it’s all on here in other threads.
For the second you’ll need to remove the fridge unit and take it to these guys.
