T6 150PS - cooling fan running on after a drive - does yours?

After the software update it does t less frequently and seems to be less aggressive too i.e. much quieter

Should I have had a software update? Haven't heard anything from vw.

It's not severe enough to be classed a recall so they'll do it if you breakdown or at your next service.

We had the warning light appear and called out VW assist who were with us within 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon! He gave us a breakdown report and the dealer had to do it with 48 hours.

Mine was for the 204, if unsure contact your dealer.

Mine does the same. I have been told it's due for a software update too but this DPF cleaning regime of it running on is quite normal.
