Hi How do I remove the off side trim/fascia around the front seat belt ? The sliding seat belt height adjustment has come out of its runners and needs to be realigned needs to be realigned ??

Your profile says “just browsing” it would be helpful to know what vehicle ?

Hi sue that does not sound right.

Is The top fixing bolted to the sliding mechanism ?

The seat belt tensioner is an integral part of the safety belt!

The B pillar Trim. Is clipped in, unfortunately there are several bits to remove to release the panel, although quite simple to do.

The door rubber and door step need to be removed to allow the lower B pillar panel to be removed, which once removed gives acces to the upper panel sliding Mech.

As I say it does not sound right that the seat belt fixing / anchor point has come out of its runners

Are you able to take a photo of the problem and post it.

Mine did that on the driver's side -(so no coat hook) Just pulled the rubber back on the door seal and trip pull off trim by finger power & slipped the slider back on the runners. (no guarantees given but it worked for me)
