For any of you with an early flight out of Gatwick, I can recommend The Cat Inn in West Hoathly. It's in a quiet village, only 20 minutes from Gatwick Long stay parking.

Great food and very friendly local pub; they let you stay in the car park.

We have used them a couple of times, so much nicer than a souless airport hotel. Added bonus, spend your money on a delicious meal and drinks rather than Premier Inn

There is also a C&MC site right next to the perimeter fence; can be noisy of course however the drive to the long stay parking (south) is less than 5 minutes.

Yep. I chose the Cat as v quiet village and no cost to stay.

Last time we just had a round of drinks, which they were fine with.
