Getting nearer to Cali ownership!

Hello everyone,

I've been a 'registered lurker' for too long and all of this T6 excitement is enough to bring me out of the shadows.

We're hoping to sign up for a Cali at some point in the next year (deposit saving is well under way) for family fun with our little 7 month old daughter. Didn't feel too strongly either way about a used T5 or new T6 but that new extras list has got me very interested. Either way we'll be well on the hunt in the coming months.

Seems like such a friendly community here...looking forward to being a part of it and learning more about these fantastic vehicles.

Welcome. Personally I would go for T5, let someone else take the hit on the initial depreciation especially as, with a young family, you're likely to hold on to it for some years to come. Also re your other thread the interest rates on regular loans are at an all time low (3.5% for 20k) - I'd save the £12k in depreciation by getting a T5 and get a personal loan in your shoes.
