Dear All. I have just gone through the numerous steps there are to empty the van of water for cold weather (GC600) but the grey water tank still says 2%. Any ideas? [I have emptied the fresh water (showing 0%); opened the valves in electric section; turned the truma blue switch and opened blue valve next to it; put screwdriver in shower fitting, which did get rid of a bit more water]. Thanks in advance.

It’s empty. Mine generally shows 2% in the grey tank when empty. Leave the empty valve/tap on the grey tank open when not in use.

Brilliant. Thanks Gordon. I did wonder whether I should be leaving that external tap open. Do I also leave the internal taps open or should I close those? One question leads to another…

Process I follow is:- Ensure water heater is off, open the valve on the fresh tank fully (two full 360 degree rotations of the valve), trip the frost protection mechanism beside the Truma heater, open the valve beside the Truma, open valves under the flap in utility cupboard. once empty open the tap in kitchen and wet-room, the pump will not run when there is no water in the tank. Purge any water from the rear/outdoor shower fitting by pressing a small screwdriver into the ball valve for a few seconds (or attach the shower hose and press the trigger on the shower head for a few seconds). Open grey water release valve/tap. Leave all taps & valves open. Remember to close them all again when using the GC, don't forget to also reset the frost protection mechanism at that time.

Thank you. That’s all incredibly helpful. Will do. Absolutely love the van. And this forum is brilliant.
