We’ve collected a few campsite stickers and I love them but I don’t want to stick them on the van.

So we hit upon the idea of buying a California window on its own, mounting it on something on the wall in the hall at home, and sticking the stickers on that!

A bit quirky, but fun, and lets us remember some of the great places we’ve been.

Now the question is, which window would look best? Obviously the back window of a T2 would be cooler and more recognisable than the driver’s window of a T6, but I’ve never owned a T2 so it would be a bit inauthentic. I’ve also thought about buying a whole rear quarter of a van and mounting that on the wall (nicely, obviously), which would look great I think, but for a T6.1 that’s probably mega expensive. So, before I source a T6.1 window, does anyone have any ideas in the same direction that would look cool and be fairly easy/cheap to do?

What about a rear bumper (sprayed in the colour of your van)? Be a Great Wall feature :)

Maybe get some wall art from Pixers and then add your stickers?

That could work! Although might work less well at eye height. Will spend some time staring at the wall tomorrow and have a think..

What about a silhouette of a T6.1 (roof up, obviously!) laser cut from metal and mounted about 1” off the wall with some soft lighting behind?
Yes! I love this. Will investigate where I can get it cut.

You could use something like this Perspex sign
