Hanging a Bike rack in the garage

I wondered if anyone had used one of these on the garage wall to hang a Thule XT3? I'm running out of space in the garage so I'd like to hang it on the wall by the towbar clutch but am somewhat terrified that it might fall off and damage one of the other cars. reviews on Amazon look OK, apart from one. Anyone done this? Rack is about 21kg, wall would be brick not block, using expansion bolts x3.

Not got but your install method would be more than sufficient.

I have got one screwed into a wood beam, with MFT back back box attached to it. Solid as a rock.

If you are worried just set some threads in the wall with resin, then bolt onto those. But 3 x expanding bolts should be more than enough.
