Thankyou to Vision Leisure Upholstery for doing such a great job!

I should have asked on a previous 'leather' thread, but having fitted Brandrup 2nd skins at the weekend, I was wondering if these leather retrims 'go over' the original fabric, or is the original fabric destroyed in the re trim?

When my van was retrimmed they carefully removed the original covers and give them back to you. That way you can reuse the originals or past them on when selling.

Do you know how they account for the airbag ? Do they put a weaker stitch in where the airbag deploys? Curious.

i hope vw dont see them using their logo is a no no

picked our Beach up the other week after having a leather retrim, we got fed up with trying to protect the seats from droplets of rain off your coats and dirty paws. Vision Leisure Upholstery in Church Stretton did an amazing job, IMO. Very professional and friendly service, give Pete a call.

Why do you feel the need to post the same thing in three different threads, seeing poo brown covers in one thread was enough for me thanks.

When you've forked out £4k plus and now have something that you don't have to wipe down every 5 minutes, maybe you just want everyone to know?

This thread set me thinking. When I decided to buy my California, I had been warned about the "fragility" of the seat fabric and so when I had a choice of vehicles at my chosen dealer (A1 campers at Oundle) I was attracted by one which already had seat covers (plus a lot of other attractive things, I have to say). Initially, I did think that they were leather, judge for yourselves. My understanding is that these would have cost about £600 new. I know that there is no substitute for real leather, but this is a good second best in my opinion.P3300085.JPGP3300086.JPG
Incidentally, there are warnings about using heated seats with seat covers. Any views?
