Hi everyone,
Having got to an age that my small tent holidays are starting to invoke reasons not to just go, I’ve started looking at campers.
Fortunately there is a Campervan Hire/Sale company near me here in Nairn. I was able to have a wander around a few different models.
They had a used California for sale and I was rather taken by it. Seemed to have thought of everything to make living out of a van as easy and practicable as possible.
After visit I hired a Toyota Granvia (only dog friendly van available for my dates) to see if this type of holiday would work for us all. It did.
Having been round the California previously, I could compare them both. The Granvia lacked space and certain cupboards unable to access when bed down.
We had a great holiday, and purchasing our own van is now under serious consideration. Finding it difficult to convince myself that a beautiful California is the answer (when had such a good time away in the Toyota).
Hopefully with the experience and advice from this forums my head and heart will be as one
