Hi it's been a while, since I was on here. Now on our 3rd California.

This summer we are heading to Morzine, Salbach and then the Dolomites and back to France. Happy to take any thoughts and experience. Will be travelling with mountain bikes and have booked accomodation in Morzone a campsite in Salbsch, but looking for recommendations in or around the Dolomites in italy for 3 to 4 days....

Thanks

We're heading there in July...difficult to find campsite for just 3-4 days; mostly 5 or 7 days minimum stay.

if you are near Austria, fuel can be cheaper there. might be worth popping over the border :)

We stayed a week here (https://campingzoo.it/en/) at the start of the month and really liked it. Not too far from the Dolomites and loads of great bike infrastructure in the area. The site is quite kid orientated if that's an issue.

Last year we stayed at https://maps.app.goo.gl/fcHMCx38oSsHvXbf9
before walking up to the Rifugio Marinelli . Loved the walk.

Two years ago we 'wild camped' at the car park at the top of the toll road to the 3 Cime di Lavaredo, so you can walk around them starting early in the morning. Great sunset and sunrise await.
