Hi,
Short while ago I started a discussion around hook-up options and what the best options were. I have been discussing options with a chap called Simon from Tough Leads and after a prompt from a member around an option that included a take-off point at the main connection point on the van, we came up with an option for a socket(s) that had a waterproof enclosure and ran for, in my case 8m.
Take a look - https://www.toughleads.co.uk/collections/caravan-hook-ups/products/caravan-hook-up-in-line-adaptor-to-13a-socket?variant=12213294792792
Although it sticks out a little bit, one of my major concerns it's not heavy and not that easily knocked. In my opinion, it provides an excellent option whereby you could leave it attached whilst knowingly no its safe from the elements as well as providing flexibility when requiring an extra socket or two.
Please give me feedback
