Heres a thought - the VW share price has dropped around 1/3 since the emissions scandal broke - the current price is around 106. Note from marketsFT.com today

The 28 analysts offering 12 month price targets for Volkswagen AG have a median target of 130.00, with a high estimate of 270.00 and a low estimate of 78.00. The median estimate represents a 21.95% increase from the last price of 106.60

By my reckoning, a £250k share investment today will net you £ new california courtesy of VW this time next year.

Unless the financial hole in the U.S deepens and VW have no option but to retreat from the entire North American market... I expect the share price won't recover from that too quickly.
