How long to wait at German port?

Would 3-4weeks sat at the port in Germany waiting to be shipped an excessively long time? I understand there are lots waiting at ports due to dealerships orders for the last of the T6.1s. What’s your experience?

Everyones is different. Generally they are built and then moved to the port to sit in a carpark awaiting shipment. They work on a FIFO basis in that carpark but it depends on the amount of boats sailing and what they are loading on. 3 - 4 weeks does not sound horrendous.

Can be anything from days to over a month. I imagine it'll move soon. I wouldn't bother trying to chase it - dealerships aren't interested until it's in the country and VW in Germany aren't really all that interested in customers at all (sad, but true) which is why it's nigh on impossible to get any kind of information out of them.

It will be with you very soon! You may even have a last edition sticker as I’m not sure of anyone who’s got one yet unless they saved them for European LHD market?
