How To Clean cooker glass where it sits in hinge rail

Hi All
just wondering if anyone has mangaed to clean the cooker glass where it sits in the hinge rail. I presume we would have to remove the glass from the rail to clean it , ours is looking a little grubby at the moment and wondered if anyone had any great ideas ?
