How to stop Figure of 8 slipping on a Cinch Awning

We put the Cinch hub up for the first time today but having trouble stopping the Kandor strip and figure of 8 sliding out- tried winding out the awning a bit but it wobbles a bit and if I wind it right in the sliding door rubs - not cut anything to size yet but looking for recommendations

is there anyway to fix the figure of 8 strips together to stops the sags in the candor

I had the same issue, google kador stip clamps and there will be a load of options, I bought one and it took a couple of weeks to arrive from china. Cant remember specifically where from but cost under £10 from memory.

I think thats what you need, just limits any movement.

To add, they should come in a pair and you put one at either end of the figure 8's and they limit how far they can move.

You could probably find a clamp/clamps that isn't bespoke for these for a bit less.

How far out do you wind the awning . Just trying to work out how to lift the Kandor strip away from the sliding door
