Iced out!

Went to open up and defrost Cali screen at 9am only to find ALL doors iced solid and wont open
-5 all night and bus not moved during snow and ice rain last week
so plan for nice drive out in sun and frosty walk with dog and picnic scuppered
could not open it till sun warmed it up and it reached dizzy -1 at 12pm!
so we went out in car to local country park
walk was good but sitting with a flask in a car is pants!

That’s when the remote fob for the diesel heater comes on handy!

I managed to open the driver's door yesterday after a little persuasion.

I am glad I took the time to fully drain down the fresh and waste water tanks after our last trip away.

But I forgot to remove the Thetford 335 porta potti from under the sink when the cold weather was forecast last week. The top water tank with the chemical additive had frozen

After leaving it in the house overnight it has thawed out and fortunately no damage appears to have been done to the tank or the pump.
