Hey folks, Long term campervan enthusiast here. My first van was a 1988 Danbury Bedford Rascal, then i had a 2004 Wellhouse Mercedes Vito (which is going up for sale in a week or so - watch this space!), and next will be a T6 California.
I’m actively seeking the California now. My must have spec would be LED headlights and DSG. Leather / alcantara seats and audio upgrades would be ‘nice to have’, but not essential items. Engine-wise 204 4motion would be first choice, then 204 2wd, then 150. I like the odd gadget, so the higher the spec / more extras on the vehicle the more likely I am to be willing to compromise on the engine.
I’m open to a private purchase so, if you’ve got a van like that you’re thinking of selling, do reach out to me. Much as I’m looking ‘now’, I’m in no rush and will take my time to find the right one!
