Ioannina Greece to Venice

We are planning a trip in October from Ioannina Greece to Venice and would prefer to hold by the coast, via Albania, Montenegro, Croatia. Anyone done the trip recently? We are concerned about the state of the roads (and campsites) in Albania mainly and would welcome any information.
