It cost more than my first house but I love it!

I do sympathise with the younger generation.
Tuition fees are a complete disgrace. I work for a University and see first hand how badly run/managed these places are. So much wasted money.

It's not the waste which worries me, it's the way the burden falls disproportionately on the poor.

And then there is the transfer of wealth from the current generation to my generation. I had free university education paid for by the taxpayer of my previous generation, but having received this boon, I'm exempted from paying for the next generation's university education through my own taxes.
