Just bough a Cali, struggling to find a self drive insurance company

Hi Cali owners, i have just purchased a Cali, i am looking at renting it out the weeks im not using it, can anybody recommend any insurance companies that do the self drive insurance. as i tried LV and they do not cover me renting it out. much appreciated.

I did try looking thru all the other post, but struggled to find any recent ones.

I see you are a admin on here, any were i can get some advice on the paperwork side of things for hiring out. IE T&C, contract.

Yes apparently lots of negatives, just know my local Cali hire firm uses them.

Does day insure cover commercial hires? I don’t think they do. Also most SDP insurers don’t like a second policy or hiring. Have you told your Own insurer you are hiring it. Check you terms and conditions. In a real life bad accident or claim you may not be covered at all although you might get away with it for a small knock.
