Just joined and may have a problem?

Picked up the Cali yesterday and just now noticed there is an electrical whining noise coming from around the wardrobe area. It wasn't making this noise yesterday? Everything is turned off and the noise continues even when the doors are locked?
Is this normal?

Turn off your watertap ! It is the pump in the watertank making noise...

Ps , using the "search" function will answer many of your following Q's

Edit : if your tap is fully closed and still you hear the noise stick your head under the sink,in the right hand cabinet (remove the drawer ) and disconect the electrical wiring and go to your dealer
