Latest VW offers - too good to be true???

Has anyone bought a GC or California using the current VW offer? Is it what it appears - VW pay your first 3 months payments? Out local dealer Citygate have produced a solutions PCP quote which shows a 3 month payment holiday - not VW paying the first 3 months! The interest due in the first 3 months has then been added back to the finance deal increasing monthly payments by £36+. The dealer is adamant this is what VWFS say the offer is. Has any else found this?

The offer is they pay, not a payment holiday. But it is only for current stock not new orders. This is how I read it anyway.

We have noticed that VW and Audi have tv adverts with this 3 month free deal at the moment.

Audi finance is at 5.5% whilst VW on the Golf was 3%.

Why the difference? They are all part of the VW group of companies.
