Leisure Batteries Change

Hi All

Appreciate we all use them differently, however, after how many years did you replace the original Leisure Batteries with new ones?

Ours were replaced under warranty as they just weren’t holding a charge.
Took it in on the last day of the warranty period. They agreed that they were knackered and replaced them both...

5 years following an Acute failure in 1 Battery wild camping in Norway. Replaced both with OEM Varta Batteries, But not from VW.

Good to know, I was checking through threads to prepare for replacing. Mine are 7 years old and do 3/4 days before going too low. I have started using a Dokio solar panal on sunny days when the fridge is cranked up just in case.

Just replace after 5 ½ yes. Followed the instructions on here and replaced both myself, cost £372, UK Camper wanted £702

After 5 years. Old ones were ok but I have two small kids and failing batteries is not the kind of jeopardy I need. The new ones are better.
