Hi there to all those in Callie land....
We're going away for 6 weeks and wonder if there is a cheap solar panel we could use to keep our leisure batteries happy whilst we are away and Callie languishes at home? We don't need them otherwise as we use sites and electric lookup, not wild campers.
Any ideas? We live in a block of flats and can't leave anything plugged in.
Any comments?

Panels like that probably do exist, with integrated chargers to plug into a 12V socket. But why bother? As long as the fridge and central display are switched off, and you have no USB chargers or anything plugged in, the batteries can easily hold a charge for six weeks. You wouldn't take any special precautions for the starter battery either, on a Cali or on a regular car.

Reading forums like this can sometimes lead to overthinking things.
