Hi just wondering if anyone had encountered this before.

I was putting my heater on for the monthly hour and noticed my battery level dipped from 90% to 70%.

I left it a few minutes after turning off the heater and it jumped back up to 90%.

Which is the true value?

I had a long enough drive at the weekend so I thought the leisure batteries would be almost fully charged.

Normal. The Heater takes a lot of power to start up. The voltage is pretty accurate. % not so.

Starting up the heater consumes a lot of power as said above .
One of the resons why i try to switch on my heater 10-15min before arrival at campsite if needed (cold/wet weather), so it takes some power generating from te engine and it's nice and cosy at arrival , when you pop up the roof it usual feels cold for the first 10-15min as there's heat loss ...

Cheers. Reassuring. Good tip about starting the heater before you arrive!
