Leisure battery powered 12v port in T4 Westfalia Camper

OK. I have a T4 Westfalia camper. Behind the driver's seat are two outlets. One 110 dual outlet for "normal" electrical cords, for use when on shore power. And a 12 v port which is powered by the leisure battery.

The 12v port is not like a cigarette lighter port. And I am not sure how to hook into it. Does anybody know if some sort of adapter exists to get a cigarette lighter port to connect to that so that normal 12v accessories can be used? The port in question is marked #1, below:

That is a odd European (Hella I think?) size socket. Adapters are available to convert to standard cigarette lighter size.
Best bet is to replace with a USB outlet.
