You could buy the socket and plug and chop your cable accordingly.

Depending on which type of cable (or to be exact, socket) you have, it might be possible to screw open the socket, cut the cable at the desired lenght and screw it back on. Just like the way you would with electricity cable in your home.This part unscrews

It is more common in France to require a longer hook up cable, we have been to some sites where the socket has been four or five pitches away.

When using the full length just make sure that everything is properly connected and won't shock anyone who innocently moves the wet live joint when it's lying on the ground.
I think that some sites frown on intermediate EHU cable connections.
