Haha, I'm working on the last one - must be high with those stones and low grass...I would be honoured to do a walk in Scotland with you. Yes.

How does Ben Hope work?
I was up there about 20 years ago, can't remember this but figures with the surrounds...
It’s worth it to be a little curious about one’s heritage...I grew up in California, but know about my ancestors in Aberdeen back to 1450. You may think genetics are not so important, but...midges don’t bite me. My Spanish friend got slaughtered. The back of the Five Sisters, down Glen Licht - you've picked the few areas of Scotland that I know well!
My in-laws live near Dornie, which is handy for a keen hillwalker!
Our favourite mountain too. So many days spent climbing and scrambling there. The East Face is just a great playground!
Top one is me on Liathach in Torridon, 1991, quite an airy scramble with good exposure...Although I'm not familiar with the Cairngorms, the aridity leads me to believe these photos are from there, much higher than most of the Munros I know, except for BN. Something of the coloring of the first photo makes me think it's not exactly recent!
Not sure about this one, I don't think it's Ben Lui or Buchaille Mor?
Great pics! Loch Shiel from Sgor an Tarmachain?Top one is me on Liathach in Torridon, 1991, quite an airy scramble with good exposure...
Bottom one is Ben Cruachan, a mountain containing a hydro electric pumped storage power station, summer 1998.
Here's one from the Cairngorms - Driesh & Mayar

and one from Kintail, South Sheil Ridge, with The Saddle in the background -

Any guess as to where this is - clue, it's not far from the pic above...

Quite a bit further north, here’s a view looking the other way:Not sure about this one, I don't think it's Ben Lui or Buchaille Mor?
Tryfan? Looks beautiful. I haven't even begun to explore Wales, must get busy.
Would half the name be 'Ben' ? !Hint, you already have half the name of a peak right next door from a previous answer.

Hahaha, I was thinking of the "More" part!Would half the name be 'Ben' ? !
I'm struggling...
Last one of mine is my brother on Ben Sgritheall above Loch Hourn, looking towards Ladhar Bheinn just out of shot to the right - I would highly recommend it for stunning views, if not an interesting hill.
Conival?Hahaha, I was thinking of the "More" part!
Yep.Conival?
That's a great area, I was up Quinag about 30 years back, nobody else about...Yep.
