Locking interior table in place

Does anyone know if it is possible to lock the interior table in place when it is opened out ready for use? We used the Cali for the first time last weekend and noticed that the table has a habit of sliding from side to side if leant on.

Don't think so. We only use the sliding table when there are just us two adult owners in the van. The slidey table, whilst very handy, is too vulnerable to damage to its one leg because it can't be fixed in position; also to adults using the edge of the table as a support when getting up from the seat. So when we have company, we attach the table that lives in the door to the kitchen unit - a much more robust arrangement if a bit more of a faff!

Use ours all the time with four people. No problems. It slides gently backwards - have to take care locking it place when folded otherwise it rattles. Need to be able move it to allow for the movement of the front seats. I think it is a great design and one of several clever features that led to us buying the California. Recently hired a VW conversion in NZ - had a table on a centre pole that was stored in the boot. Real pain if you wanted something from the fridge whilst eating a meal - had to move the table first!
