Lost water tank cap

Our T6 Cali Ocean is 2 years old. Recently we noticed a hole where the water tank cap should be. No obvious sign of damage (photo attached). We’re flummoxed. Could the cap and the mounting have fallen off or might the whole fitting have been stolen? Does anyone have any experience of this? Also where to find a replacement please. How easy is it to fix??Grateful for any advice. Thanks

Seems to me it’s come appart , been mentiont before on the forum .
Buy a new , look in the clubshop @CampervanBits .
I got myself and spare that i carry at all time in the van ....just in case.

water tank locking cap

I have lost the locking cap on the water tank. Didn't lock it when I went down to get the van cleaned. Is it special size or will all petrol tank caps fit it? If not, any suggestions on where to get a replacement. VW will be expensive, as always.

Thanks for super quick reply. We have tried a new VW cap but the lugs to hold it in place have gone. Looks as if we need to change whole black rectangular unit. Looks complicated too.
