Enlarge the france map arround Nevers you will see one campsite at Nevers and sevral aires in the nearby surroundings .
Never used those .
I went to see F1 the last time it was at Magny-cours guess it must have been over ten years allready , Shummi won ....i still rember me and my mate crawling over the fence afther the race and we watched the podium from below on the tarmac, was great!
We drove passed the circiut last year and detoured to the entrance to take a pic from the Cali in front of the gates...
Does the event not organise a camping at the circuit?
Back then we slept in my Renault Kangoo with two persons...next to the entrance , organised camping

Camping Nevers would be the great i think , walking distance to the village
I did checked it out before on the net planning to stop there one day when passing heading south.

There will be camping at the circuit which adds to the fun of it all. If you want a more quite camp go past the circuit at the back and there is a village, locals there take advantage of making money and use gardens etc as camp areas.

Thanks for all the info Wim. I'll check it all out.
Yes, got the ACSI card so will use that at one of the sites.
Yes, World Superbikes. My daughter works for Dorna down in Barcelona so she can usually get passes for me. Very handy, saves a fortune.
Watched the MotoGP at Silverstone the other week from the pit lane.
Camping Nevers looks good. Think I'll get it booked and try to get her to pick us up from the site to save dismantling the Cali each day.
Seems ages since there was an F1 race in France, really odd. Perhaps it will change now that Bernie is selling up.

Thanks Bernd
Yes looking for somewhere reasonably quiet.
Stayed at the circuit at Moorland in Aragon last year. Crazy, you expect noise at races but bikes held constantly all night on the rev limiters all over the site is a bit excessive.

Some of the motor racing camps I have stayed on over the years...for noise and ambience.....Jerez MotoGP....crazy...followed closely by Le Mans & Hungary & OMG Brno....still it adds to the atmosphere.

Going to Valencia for final round of MotoGP in November which will be....interesting....

Might be there too Bernd. Not decided yet.
As you say, could be interesting. Especially if Dani keeps on form like last year.
