The new MkII drawers are now in (we just need to get them all packaged up) and are more useful than you may think
On their website it says you need to move the rear bench forward 5cm. If there was a shorter version I would get one asap.Great vid and looks a quality finish on the drawer etc. Are you planning to offer a slightly shorter varient to fit the 6.1 California with the lounge bed feature..... that I would definitely sign-up for.
They are on there way should be a couple of weeks i believeHi. Do you have a powder coated 3 seater t6 beach version please?
Thanks for the reply..... and appreciate you checking if it fits in the next 6.1 that pulls up on site with the lounge bed feature. We fitted the older version in the T6.1 which was a little bit bigger in terms of depth, and you needed to move the seat forward around 5cm. We've had this new full-width version made a little smaller so although the video says to move the seat forward a few cm you may get away with not doing (we'll confirm 100% when we next see a T6.1) but don't forget when in bed mode the bench seat has to be moved quite a bit forward toward the front of the Cali in comparison to where it sits in seat mode - if that makes sense.
According to the above measurements by CVB theirs is 3cm deeper into the boot - 78 vs 75cm from the competitor. Thanks for the reply..... and appreciate you checking if it fits in the next 6.1 that pulls up on site with the lounge bed feature.
In the meanwhile here's some measurements from a German competitor who are offering 'a shorter drawer', advertised as the "Calidrawer JALOPY Heckauszug 710mm version", that avoids the bench seat/bed having to slide forwards.
I believe another Club member acquired one from this supplier and it did fit without need to move the bench forward.
- Overall size including rails 1000mm wide by 750mm deep,
- Outer dimentions drawer only, 715 by 949, and
- Inner drawer only, 709 by 943
If the CVB MkII drawer matches or falls within these measurements put my down on the list.... Thanks

I seem to remember the German supplier didn't want the business and was quite rude when questioned, win win.It is really good to see this product here in the UK from @CampervanBits. I find it is the best aftermarket item for the Cali. We had to get ours from the EU, many years ago now - they make packing easier and good for ones back.
We bought ours before the "B" word so not an issue but would not buy from Europe now.remember the German supplier didn't want the business and was quite rude when questioned,
I can't quite zoom in enough and read the numbers on that diagram!here
As someone who has a similar one fitted (made by a forum member), I'd say give into your temptation and get one!! One of the best things for the Cali, in my opinion.Very tempted! One quick question, can you still fit the Thetford porta poti 335 on the tray and get it under the rear shelf? I seem to recall it was a close fit as is and I guess you loose a little height with the tray. Appreciate your advices, thanks.
Did you get to the bottom of this @calikev? Do you need to move the seat forward? On their website it says you need to move the rear bench forward 5cm. If there was a shorter version I would get one asap.
Yup, just need to convince her in doorsAs someone who has a similar one fitted (made by a forum member), I'd say give into your temptation and get one!! One of the best things for the Cali, in my opinion.
