Microwave??

Hopefully not too naive a question.... When hooked up to a suitable electrical supply at a site, can you run a domestic 230v microwave through the 230v outlet on the side of the sink unit? I suppose they run at a bout 800w. Thanks

Yup... no problem on hook up.

There's also a portable (12v/230v) microwave... works better on 230v but is nice and compact.

Try a Google for Wavebox

Yo be honest though, if you're only going to use it on hook up... a cheap low power model would be your best bet... probably around £70 would get you a pretty good one.

Interesting, I've never heard of a 12/230v model. Thanks for the tip! (although I think we'd only ever use it on hook-up)
