MOT - car or commercial

Hi all

May be a silly question, but where do you get your MOTs done - is it a job for a Commercial vehicle specialist or can a regular car MOT station handle the job?

Interested to hear your thoughts as mine will be going in soon

It's class 4 which is the same as a car

As Kev says, Class IV MOT so shouldn't be a problem to get it done anywhere.

Just make sure their MOT Bay area has lots of headroom for when they look underneath

Yup... agree with all of the above... Only been turned away by one as they didn't have the headroom.

I use our local "in and out" centre... they do all three of the transporters

Halfords Autocentres doing Half Price MOTS If booked on line. Have used them 3 times for my Mini Cooper D . No issues. My local VW commercial centre have done imy Cali and previous T4 for £30.
