I don't think my MOT man likes me! Apart from the Cali which goes to a VW dealer I've got 2 other (cheap) cars, both with maximum annual mileage insurance policies. I use my local MOT station, who are sensible with their testing, so no silly fails. However...... Both cars MOT'd in the last 2 months and on inspection I found the odometer mileage on both had been entered incorrectly. The garage can reissue MOT within 7 days or as is the case for mine they have to do it via DVSA.
My concern had I not spotted the errors is that in both cases my agreed insurance mileage would have been exceeded and in the event of a claim I would have to try and prove the "true mileage".
The garage were somewhat embarrassed and apologetic ..... " only happened twice this year and to both of your cars"!
