Move cupboard lights?

I have a box that I want to put in here, but the light is an inch too low. How easy is it to move the interior cupboard lights? Not sure how they are attached.

My guess double sided adhesive tape. Should be easy to relocate horizontally for extra clearance. Hairdryer to soften the adhesive, lift off and relocate.

it is very easy, double sided tape as corradobrit said. Use double sided tape that can be removed without leaving traces: search amazon for "nano tape"

If anyone else is thinking of doing this you might want to know that in addition to the double sided tape there are a couple of holes in the wall that takes two little studs on the back of the light.


My replacement double sided tape isn’t really thick enough relative to those studs and so I’m not sure what to do now.

1. Cut the studs off with a Stanley knife?
2. Buy thicker tape?
3. Drill two new holes?
4. Put it all back how I found it?
