I've just installed a 100W Solar Panel and have attached a 12v Socket to the load terminals of my Victron 75/15 MPPT. I will be using it to charge an Ecoflow in the future, but I might also like to use it to charge other USB items. Having the socket in the rear seems inconvenient to me, so for ease of use I was thinking of installing the 12v socket somewhere in the "living area". Perhaps on the outside of the wardrobe, but I am a little nervous about drilling a hole in it.

So, for those of you who use the load output, are you able to share your set ups please?

Hi, don’t know if it’s helpful but I have the same Victron 75/15 MPPT with 12v sockets and an Ecoflow Delta 2. I keep the Delta 2 in the boot then run an extension lead with USB through the space under the bench seat where the optional narrow cupboard runs, velcroing it to the plastic cover. This means the Delta 2 stays out of the way but I can use its power in the main compartment or the boot.

Further to my original post I have now found a solution :)

I purchased a cigarette lighter socket, USB A, USB C combination unit from Amazon and fitted it to the side of the wardrobe using 3M Command Strips so it’s very secure. I routed the cable & 10A inline fuse back to the MPPT through the top of the wardrobe, so it’s all out of sight. The placement of the unit doesn't hinder the fridge, wardrobe or sun blind.

So now when my leisure batteries are full other items can be charged rather than the seeing the solar circuit open and valuable watts disappear :)

Here’s some links:

Interesting, got a similar dilemma.

We want to be as self sufficient as possible so am looking at an ecoflow delta 2 or 3 (dunno which , probably the 3 as its a smidge smaller than the 2). Just where do people wire in the load from the MPPT so it pops out into the boot space but without drilling holes in the cupboards ?

Might be worth considering EcoFlow delta 3 along with the EcoFlow DC charger adds a quite unique feature to reverse charge the leisure batteries if required. Charger Fits easily under the drivers seat.

If buying now, I would seriously consider the Bluetti Elite 200 V2 and the Bluetti alternator charger over the Ecoflow products. It’s very compact considering it has nearly double the power of the Delta2/3. It also handles multiple AC devices very well by adjusting the power delivery.
