thanks for posting.

lots to absorb - no interest in the new Beach for my next van (am I also reading it right there's no roof bed?) and weighing-up differences between the Coast & Ocean. I'm not bothered about the IQ lights & powered roof, but £3,120 is a big ask for a heater ...

Love how they highlight that the bed is 5cm longer but forget to mention it’s a lot narrower ;)

Looks nice. Option list is a lot shorter than for the T6.1. Electric roof is now standard on both the Coast and the Ocean. And the Discover Pro infotainment system is now standard on the Ocean.

You can now spec a carpet in the living area! And you can spec the wireless phone charger (wasn’t available in the UK previously). The towbar is now retractable rather than removable.

Oddly enough, there’s no mention of the shower attachment at the back nor any pictures of it.

The two-tone colors are just awful :talktothehand Shame.

But really well spec’d as standard for sure.

It seems that other than an option on the Beach, there’s no spare wheel! That my absolute bugbear on vehicles. I’d be constantly paranoid about being in more remote areas.

It’s not for me. Too long, bed too narrow, limited storage, no spare wheel, expensive.

Looking at the available payloads it seems like weight is a problem.

413kg payload for the diesel Ocean. What is it on the equivalent 6.1?

ETA. 509kg on 6.1 Ocean 150

Minimum allowed at registration follows a strict formula

10kg per m in length of vehicle = 60kg
10kg per berth = 40Kg
75kg per belted passenger seat = 300kg ( for a four seater)

You would not be able to register a new Ocean with less than 400kg of payload or 485KG for a Beach

This has been a problem on the 3500kg grand Californias with different combinations of extras not being allowed without a weight upgrade .

I don't know if its a typo but the 204 engine looks to weigh a substantial amount less than the 150

A quick comparison shows that the Ocean weighs a hefty 251kg more than the equivalent size 7 seat multivan

That is about the same difference between a Tx Multivan and a Ax California.
Mine is "empty" between 2400 and 2500kg. My dad's T6 Multivan is about 2200kg.

Towing capacity now been reduced again to 2t so I’m out with my boat - glad I kept to T6.1 this summer and didn’t hang on , what a disappointment this will be to many and less practical
