New flexible-light problem?

Hi All. Having been puzzled by recent slight but continuous outflow from my leisure batteries when everything was supposed to be off I rechecked the flexi roof light again and found that a single cell of the LED is staying on when the rest of the light is off. Is this a new issue? The light is last year’s replacement for the broken original, but it was OK until recently. I presume it will need replacing again but any suggestions welcome!
