Hello,

Does anyone have any campsite recommendations in the New Forest / Dorset coast area?

We are a family of 4 so need good toilets/showers etc. We are looking for the June Bank Holiday weekend.

Many thanks

Durdle door holiday park is nice. Www.lulworth.com

Right on top of durdle door on the coast. Good space for kids to play and an easy walk to Lulworth etc.

In the new forest Redshoot-campingpark.com is our favourite but a lot of families like sandyballs.co.uk which although outside of the park itself has more stuff for kids.

Inside park, blandford. Awesome camp site, with bonus of brewery in the local town. Been twice on way back from Devon to Kent.

We have just been to Sea Barn farm above Chesil Beach. Stunning views along the coast from the non electric pitches. Probably could walk into Weymouth along the coast and get the bus back.

Huge recommendation for Holland Woods park nr Brockenhurst.

Excellent facilities yet quiet and nicely tranquil with lovely views of a heath. Cheap too!

We've camped at this one a few times and really like it. My friends wife found it after a search for Dorset campsites with 'new shower facilities' !! Although that was a couple of years ago. It's quite quiet but has some great pitches and plenty of good walking from the site.
